Well, you have several options... For me, my drug of choice for years was liquor. Yup, booze taught me not to try so hard, to just go with the flow. But that leads to other problems. I would suggest Klonopin as one of if not the best all around Social Phobia drug. It reduces anxiety, fear, and slows thought (kinda like booze!). Now, if you are "normal" and take Klonopin, it can make you clumsy and stupid. If you suffer from being overly-introverted, and think too much, then Klonopin can not only make you more extraverted and it can actually make you seem smarter.
SSRI's like Prozac, Paxil, ZOloft, Luvox and Celexa help a lot too. It's a different kind of help though. They numb you. YOu feel serene, cocooned, nonchalant. Over time, with these drugs, you won't worry so much about your social inabilities and the thoughts that lead to your self-fulfilling prophecies will dissapear.
