Start low (10 mg for a week or 2)then go to 15 mg for a week, then 20. This will make the side effects easier to take. They include daytime tiredness, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, sexual. For me the side effects were not as bad as with Prozac and they went away after a couple of months. The only side effect that lasted was sexual but I take Ginkgo which reverses that side effect.

In March or April of 2002, a refined Celexa should be on the market which has less side effects. It's called escitalopram but I don't know what the brand name will be.

> I am switching from Remeron to Celexa....I would like to know what to expect (ie. side effects). Thanks for the help. Alexxus
