Buspar is a pretty crappy med in my view. It may work for some, but I see it as a cop-out to using benzos (that in my opinion have fewer side effects, but the possibility of tolerance/addiction). If you took Zyban before and had no worries, then it is not the 150 SR of Wellbutrin that is causing you trouble. As you know, Zyban and Wellbutrin are exactly the same thing (just different writing). SOOOOOO....looks to me as the Buspar is the culprit. Wellbutrin CAN cause you to be irritable and crabby for awhile, but it is a good mood lifter. I have taken it for about 2.5 years for depression. Out of curiosity, if you don't think you are depressed, why take antidepressants? Look at the depression scale (i.e. are you sad for no reason? feel hopeless, worthless, trapped, can't sleep or sleep too much, sociophobic, suicidal ideation and the like).
