Dear all of you sufferers out there withdrawing from Effexor,
DOSAGE DOES NOT MATTER! Each indivudual is DIFFERENT, just the way God made us. I have been on 75 mg (only) Effexor for 8 months due to depression, it worked wonders along with Wellbutrin.
I have been weaning off of Effexor for 2 months (down to BELOW 37.5) I have been dumping out the tiny granules daily down to practically nothing. I experienced dizziness, nausea, pain, headaches, etc. but NOTHING compared to 5 days ago when I stopped completely. I have been in bed every since.
I am scared and after reading all that I have today, my concerns have tremendously broadened, I do however do feel better that I am not alone. Not to repeat myself I have written more in reponse to other people so if you are interested, see Pamela.
75mg is not much (period), let alone compared to what most of you are taking, so be careful when thinking you are through the worst (at 75 or even 37.5), especially when driving, I almost had an accident the first day off of it..
If I had it to do all over again, knowing what I know now, I would gladly stay depressed and yes, mine was severe. I can't handle being dizzy over any of the side-effects I have been experiencing! I can't even walk or sit up for more than a few minutes.
