Suprised to hear the connection, because I've been recently haveing alot of knee pain and wonder if this is starting to act up because of the Effexor XR. Other than that, my experiences with Effexor have made a new woman out of me. I have suffered from depression all my life basicly, and just didn't realize. My doctor put me on Effexor simply because it was on my perscription list from my insurance provider. I started at 75mg but didn't get any result.... he doubled the dose and now I can definately tell the diference. I take one pill about 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon.... settled on that time cause I'm most active and won't get tired soooo much.

> JanHi Jan,
18 lbs later and lots of pain, I can relate. 8 lbs in the last 5 days. It is crazy. I have been weaning off for 2 months and was on them for 7 mos.. Never felt worse in my life, so you might think of staying on forever. My depression was circumstantial and didn't last too long, so I hope you have better luck with this than I. I would have never taken this had I known the end result. My situation is 20/20 material.
God Bless,
Pamela
