Welbutrin - coughing and trouble swallowing?!?

Posted by sam346 on March 20, 2001, at 17:27:05

Hi, i've been taking Welbutrin for a while now and recently i've noticed that i have been having trouble swallowing. it's wierd. i cough and cough sometimes for hours at a time, i always feel like i have to cough or clear my throat, and then it gets to the point where i feel like i can't swallow. it is the worst at night and whenever i lay down to go to sleep i almost immediately start coughing. it gets so bad that there have been many nights that no matter how tired i was, it kept me up all night or for several hours until i took something to knock me out. i was wondering if anyone has experienced this type of problem with Welbutrin or if my problem is unrelated to the drug. let me know, thanks, sam
