From what I understand, and this is not a medical opinion, I am not an expert, you require a two week washout period for certain SSRI's before starting Parnate, and I believe a longer period of time for Prozac (???) - it depends on how long the drug remains in your system. If you do not follow the proper guidelines it can cause severe problems.

I would highly recommend you seek a good pharmacologist before attempting *any* changes in medication as Parnate, or MAO inhibitors, are medications not to fiddle with.
