Info For All You Wellbutrin Users With ADD

Posted by JackD on August 28, 2000, at 1:57:25

Just a little something interesting I observed in myself so far while taking Wellbutrin... I have ADD in addition to my anxiety/depression, and every once in a while, I feel ADDish on the Wellbutrin. Not physically, but mentally (Can't focus, brain fog). I then take a very small dose of Ritalin, and I feel the Ritalin's effects for a really long time (Much longer than normally). Not only do I need much less Ritalin to achieve a desired affect, but I feel the Ritalin for as long as a day!

Now, Wellbutrin is a weak Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor, which is why it is good for smoking; it slows the onset and the passage of that cigarette buzz. I guess it does the exact same thing with Ritalin as well.

There isn't really any point to this post except to just share some cool info with you guys.
