Effexor as replacement for Maoi?

I received a reply from my post (2/25/00) re replacement of Phenelzine (Nardil) with a non-Maoi med. Scott thinks Effexor might work. If there is anyone who has successfully transitioned from Nardil to Effexor (or other non Maoi med) I would like to hear of it. Thanks in advance, Edward
